48 cab width (visor mounting points)

Hi all,

My truck (a 48 F1) is currently at a friend's place more than two hours drive from where I live. I am hunting around for exterior sun visors that might fit my truck. Can anyone perhaps please tell me what the distance is from drip rail to drip rail, as measured across the top edge of the windshield, so I can get a rough idea of what dimensions in a visor might work?

I would be very grateful for any help anyone can give.

Cheers and thanks in advance,

Dan

On my 1949 truck...
Measured from the outer edge of the drip rail to the outer edge of the drip rail on the other side is 49.5 inches.
This measurement was taken at the top of the windshield edge.

Hope this helps, Tom

Awesome, thanks Tom. That does help a lot. That's a real nice job on that red F2 by the way.

Cheers and thanks again,

Dan
