2016 Explorer - Headliner Vibration at Highway Speeds
Hello everyone, first time posting here, but I couldn't find others with an issue similar to mine.
Whenever I hit highway speeds, especially in 75 mph zones, there is a loud vibrating noise that sounds like its coming from the headliner, near where it meets the top of the windshield. I am having trouble locating the cause of the vibration. I know it is not the hood vibrating as others have complained about. The puzzling part is that sometimes I can press on the headliner towards the middle of the windshield and the noise will temporarily stop.
Has anyone dealt with this before, or have any ideas of where to start looking?
Thanks in advance

Hello,
We have a 2016 Explorer with only 58,000 miles and just a few weeks ago we started to get the same vibration sound. But my wife says it is coming from the right lower corner of the windshield and the dash. I tried pushing on the headliner as she is driving with no luck. The sounds for us starts around 65 mph.
Have you found the source of the vibration yet?
Thank you
