Are you sure it's a 302?

302 (6 valve cover bolts per side) not available with 4WD until 1980.

1977/79 F150/250 4WD's came with either a 300 I-6 or 351M or 400 V8 (8 valve cover bolts per side).

D7TZ-7A572-B .. Equalizer Bar Pivot - Inner (engine side) / Obsolete

1977 F100/150 302 from serial number Y80,001 / 1978/79 F100/150 302.

NOS PARTS SOURCE in Olathe KS has 1 = 913-220-5746.

MILLER OBSOLETE PARTS in Binghamton NY has 1 = 607-722-5371.

It had a 351 but I swapped it for a 302 fuel injected motor out of a 93

Driving down the street my clutch pushrod fell out, leaving me with no clutch. Luckily I found the pushrod (7521 in the diagram) but when I try to install it the pedal just goes to the floor. I think it has something to do with the coil spring 7534. Is that what the spring with rollers is for? What's its name?
I'm going to have to take a closer look under the dash when I get home tonight. I probably won't need one, but is it available?

Thanks,
R.

7534 is the clutch pedal lever assist spring, but there's more than one. What year is your truck, what engine?

I decided to gamble on a 1970 Mustang pedal assist spring looks almost exactly like the one that came in my truck. Length is 3 1/2" so I'm thinking it'll work. Less than $30 from Kentucky Mustang.

What's ironic about this whole thing is that my truck was sold to me as a 400 engine truck but it is really a 351M with a 400 crank and pistons in it. That means I got the clutch linkage for a 351M, if the truck had been a real 400 truck I could have bought real replacement NOS part!

Anyhow, thanks for the help!
