oh no!! another newbie

hey all,
i just bought a '03 F150, 6 banger, single cab, short bed, XL. its my first pickup and it seems to be a nice one. i know its nothing special or anything, but it seems like a truck that i can drive until it cant be driven no more.

anyone got any tips or advice for me? is there anything i should know before i start making this truck my own.

i am interested in buying a cap for the bed, adding some performance exhaust, intake system of some sort, and who knows how far it will go.

I'm sure if you snoop around and ask some questions on here you'll get lots of ideas as to what to do to your truck.

Hey Wendall.
Congrats on the truck. You have blank canvis to paint as you will, make it your own, YOUR TRUCK. Take pictures as you go. Create a book with sales info, news paper reports etc. Down the road you will be glad you did. Good luck.

ok, thats something i havent heard before bosshoss. sales info i understand, like keeping the receipts for mods and service and all that. newspaper reports? i am not sure what you mean by this. i hope that my truck doent make the local police reports...lol

thanks for the advice. i havent done this in the past, but it sounds like it would make resale alot easier.
