Wiring issue

I have an 88 bronco 2 xlt with a wiring issue going on. So all my injectors are stuck open. All of my ground wires to the injector connectors have 12v just like the hot wire. Now I've unplugged the pcm to make sure it wasn't the computer internally. I also taped up each ground wire individually to make sure there was no contact between the g tound and hot wires running from the injector connectors. I also know that the first three injectors are wired together and so are the last 3 like separate parallel circuits so if one shorts out they all will anyways I found that when I unplugged all the connectors my ground wire wasn't hot anymore but I plugged each in individually and tested for the short and every one made the circuit short out. To be clear I was key on engine off and all injector connectors were unplugged when the ground was not shorted and I plugged in one at a time then tested going down the line of all 6 connectors and each one made the circuit short out when I plugged it in . Could anyone tell me what that means ? Do I have bad injector connectors or bad injectors internally ?

Any help would be appreciated thanks to all who reply.

I know little about B2s but I'm sure they are similar in function to their big brothers.
Someone with more electrical/PCM knowledge may have a better idea but:

The bank of injectors fire off when the computer grounds them. Check for good ground connections first.
If you have a wiring schematic, check the computer's grounding method and verify continuity.

I might try(especially if the truck has been sitting for a while):

removing the injectors and put a 9 volt battery to them individually, do they click on and off?

Have you measured the ohms of the individual injectors?
I don't know what injector the B2 has but the EV1's in full size should measure 13-15 ohms of resistance

Verify the grounding first, then check out what ever triggers the computer to ground them (crank sensor? - pip?)
Might be a good place to start unless someone else has a better idea.

*EDIT:
I found this, and it too is full size but probably similar arrangement:

one other thing, did you check for codes before you removed the computer? That should always be the first thing that gets checked.

Thanks alot man I really appreciate it. And you answer ur question there was no codes and the injectors oh out at 15 which is good and I also checked the continuity of all the injector connectors and they are good. I think the info you gave me will help out alot now all I can do is test away. I'll keep updating as I find new things or get it running again. And I thought the ground wire of the connector was suppose to have 0v and the power have 12v with key on engine off. Then as I cranked that the ground wire was suppose to pulse with power to open the Injector. If I'm wrong please tell me otherwise because I will be wasting my time going off of those ideals. Thanks alot man .
