exhuast question

i have a 73 ford f 100 w/ 75,000 miles it has a 360 i need a new exhaust on it bad!! i want it to be loud but gotta keep a muffler on it....would it be pretty loud if i ran 3" pipe from ther manifold to some 24" glasspacks- the glasspacks have 3" inlets and outlets and 3" pipe out the rest of the way w/ some 24" echo tips?

Sounds good to me, but I have heard that eventually glass packs can start hurting horsepower after a while. But I think the truck would sound awesome with them on there. Also, it would be pretty inexpensive compared to putting a flowmaster or dynomax exhaust on it.

exhuast question

On my 390 we have 2 1/4" duals and 14" glasspacks that exits in front of the passenger side rear tire. It was cheap and sounds good and loud.

exhuast question

i hope it will sound good! im buying the packs today from summit....i got a question thought does the longer the glasspack make it quiter or louder b/c ive heard both THANX :S
