Yes, it was an amazing service and very emotional. I had only met Wayne maybe no more than 4 times, but each time he recognized me and took the time to have a good conversation. I have been to a military funeral, but never a police, or fire fighter funeral. Wow!! just Wow!!. Kind of inspired me to want to become a fire fighter.

If anyone has a spare prayer laying around they could offer up, our family could use another. My Aunt was leaving her house on Friday to go to the bank, when she slipped on some ice that had frozen to the steps from melting snow dripping off of the roof of the shop. Its hard to say how she landed, but we do know that she hit her head. They got her back up, and she went to the bank, but when she come home, she asked to be taken to the hospital. They waited for an ambulance, but eventually drove them themselves, because both of the Beloit ambulances were out. Beloit rushed her to Salina, and it turns out she had brain bleed, so they did emergency surgery, however she has only woken up twice since, and they have determined that her brain is swelling. The doctor and family are having a meeting tomorrow to determine what will take place next, because the doctor said she won't make it through another surgery. We went today, to see her but she wasn't aware that we were there. I am really going to miss her, she is kind of the link that still connects me to what I miss about my father. I see so much of him in her.
So in the last year and a half we have lost my father, my uncle about a month ago or two (my father's brother in law) and now we could possibly lose my aunt. (my father's sister) and my uncle won't be far behind, because she was his caretaker since he has had multiple strokes and many other issues.

yeah, we got notified during the middle of the night that she may not make it to morning, but she was still here this morning, now doctor is giving the family hope. She may have suffered a stroke, and her heart is starting to fail. they have put her on life support today to give her brain a chance to relax and try to heal. It seems like a repeat of when my father passed, the doctors would give us a roller coaster ride of news. All I can do at this point is pray for the best outcome, whether it be she fully recovers, or passes painlessly. Either way is going to be a strain on her family.
