Sister goes in for surgery today-- A friends kid sneaks out of the house- and is cruising around at 4am- and runs off a bridge-- broke both wrists- and 1 arm- has several tears in his colon- and intestines- and had some internal bleeding--- no one found him for 5 hours. car was 3 weeks old (if that) -- tox screen and blood alcohol results were not given out but if the past few weeks is any indication- that news isn't good either :-(

went pretty good-- All of the cancer is gone--
My buddy is fuming mad though-- Went to go get the kids wrecked car from the tow yard-- $1,200-- because it took 3 wreckers to get it out of the creek-- and storage since Tuesday-- Turns out the wife was supposed to put full coverage on the car on Monday-- she didn't--- Yeah- $6,000 down the tubes--- but the big kicker was the scales- plastic bags and other items in the kids car--- almost 8 grand in 3 weeks time-- plus insurance pays 80%-- so he could get stuck with 20-30-40 thousand dollars in med bills--- He's not in a happy place today

Turns out the kid in a car wreck also has a broken back and a bruised brain. They are going to have to go in and put in plates to fuse his back-- going to be there for life :-(

This is going to sound cold and mean, but those injuries will be there to remind him not to make the same mistakes in the future, and if he refuses to learn something from this, beyond, he needs to do a better job of not getting caught, then all is wasted.. Same for my kiddos.. I was about one backtalk away from beating them and going to jail this weekend. Since this was their first major offense, I will hope they learn something from it. (without going into detail, this was internet related not drug related)

Yeah being a parent is tough--- Well not for my parents-- (Or Mary ad Joseph) because their kids were perfect :-)

My sister had a double brest surgery- Her husband was in the ER 3 different times for 3 different things in the last 2 weeks- their freezer crapped out- and their daughter had her car hit by a guy in the hospital parking lot- and they decided to not do chemo or surgery on him because - it is the beginning of the end..
