fuel injection

So I did a search for fuel injection on these motors and came up with some pretty old threads. Technology has come a long way, so I'd like some more current info on the fuel injection systems out there. Some like Fitech, some like Sniper. I saw that it either works flawless or is really buggy, but like I said the threads are old. Anyone running either of these systems and what are your experiences? I'm leaning towards the Fitech but am a bit flexible.

I've heard good things about the Fitech fuel injection systems.

Their first few runs of the unit were bad... they had small gauge wires which got overheated very quickly. Since then, they have updated their system a few times to correct most of the bugs.

I believe most people are frustrated by the fuel pump install for the kit. I've heard it doesn't come with very good instructions, but their tech support is decent and they can walk you through the set-up process.

IMHO, aftermarket EFI..... ok, it's great as far as bolt on and drive....but, they are a PAIN trying troubleshoot as compared to an oem system...… IMHO, I can get a good carb to run as good and start as good as most any of the efi systems (oem excluded) to the point I personally don't see any benefit in comparison to the issues......
