Fuel pump keeps running
I have a 1991 460 efi. I get fuel to the rails but if I leave the key on with the engine off the fuel pump continues to cycle. It starts but has no acceleration. It runs rough and seems to be running very rich. Any ideas?

That is a sign that the PCM has been damaged, at this age the electrolytic caps often begin to break down and leak corrosive materials on the mother board. I suggest you pull it out and visually inspect to confirm and then look for a replacement.

I found that a capacitor was broke and the inside of pcm was Corroded. NAPA send it out for reman. I just installed, engine immediately responded like normal except it has a slight miss that may be just clearing the system out. The cel is no longer on. Thank you
