Afternoon everyone.
Well, Monday the truck vapor locked on me and left me on the side of the road. It really doesn't like the triple digit heat.
I think to solve this problem I am going to have to switch to the fuel injection exhaust manifolds from a newer truck. they don't vent into the intake like the stock log does.
Then I will have to make a cover plate for the bottom of the intake. It also means having to modify the exhaust to work with the new layout. Not sure when the money will be available for this little project.
