Donuts????

Smoked ribs & brats this morning and got better results than the last batch of ribs. Not as tender as I would like, but much milder than the last batch. Brats came out amazing...

Everything is cleaned up and cooled off enough to get it tarped back up before it rains.

I've heard that menthol shaving cream applied liberally and let to soak in works well. Nikki's favorite was a rag soaked in super strong black tea (English Breakfast tea).

Sunburn treatment Apple Cider Vinegar.....https://www.curejoy.com/content/appl...-for-sunburns/

Heal your sunburn overnight in just 2 steps: First, wet the washcloth with cold water, then splash on a little apple cider vinegar to the cloth. Dab the wet cloth onto your sunburn, soaking the skin. You should notice instant relief from any stinging!

Morning guys. I kind of disengaged from the world for a while, a little overwhelmed with daily life. Anything exciting happen over the last few months?
I'm in Bella Vista, Arkansas this week on a family vacation. Not my choice but my father in law really wanted to go. He and his family have vacationed down here since the 70's. So, we are here. Six of his great grandkids plus my 13 year old (who is the oldest of this group) are here. My wife and I might need a place to hide every once in a while.

I was working my truck the other day and a guy flagged me down and asked if I needed another engine. Of course I'm always up for that since I'm going through a quart of oil about every 125 miles. When I asked price he said he would like to sell the whole truck. A 56 F-600. He had to replace the engine with a Y-block from an F-100 at some point. So Friday I met him to check it out. Thinking I might possibly buy it to part it out and get an engine for free after selling off other parts. Well, this is what we drove up on.

It's way too nice to part out. I want it bad and the price is really good. So, how do I sneak in a truck this size?

Sneak it in? Heck, just take it home and keep the area around it maintained. I would say bring it to my house, but then I'd get attached and have another languishing in the side yard.

The 240Z would fit nicely on the back of it

Joe...do not sneak it in...loud and proud on a roll back and put it where you want it (out by the shop of course). AWAY from the main house, even BEHIND the shop works. When the boss asks WTH (and she will) say cheap parts truck/fixer upper. You bought the motor and the rest of the truck came with it. Flip sale possibility's are endless..I can double tipple my money bla bla bla and start to talk softer. Followed quickly by "I love ya honey, where do you want to go eat out for dinner? Pick the place."

This project is still setting out back...outa her site, outa her mind.
