The frames rust up pretty quick, not sure what the factory puts on them but sure doesn't last..

They probably use about the same stuff as Fluid Film.

I used some of that Eastwood rust encapsulator on my Chevy pickup and top coated it with chassis black and it only lasted through one winter, after the second winter the frame was rust again..

That stuff is supposed to be thicker than what comes in a spray can

This last pickup I sprayed 2 coats of epoxy primer and 2 coats of chassis black but they don't see winter so should last a very long time..

That is the only way.. Don't bring them out

That's okay if you have a sacrificial lamb to drive which I have 2 of...lol

I don't know what the consistency is but a cheap Harbor Freight undercoat sprayer can be used to apply it.
