Jim, you can get a bigger rear view mirror that fits perfectly, installs easily, and looks just like the OEM unit that comes with the truck. I got a bigger one for my Ranger off of FordPartsNetwork about a year ago...

Jim, sorry I think I gave you some wrong info on where I got my replacement mirror, and I can't find the receipt now.., but anyway, I only have a 12" basic (no lights, wires, etc.) rearview mirror from **** Mirrors (model # 33000) which you can order from here (btw, the stock Ranger mirror is 10"):
Thanks for the links. Now I am undecided whether I should just fix the small mirror problem or put in the Uber-Autodimming-Map-Compass combo. Decisions, decisions. I think it could be easily wired to the dome light. I did that with the radar detector in my Mustang and it works great.
