I drive a 2006 F150 with the 5.4liter v8. I am interested in adding CNG to make it dual fuel. Someone in my area is selling a CNG kit that was pulled from a 2001 F150 with the 5.4liter v8. Would any of you know if this system could work on my 2006? THey mention it comes with the conversion kit computer, fuel lines, intake, coil packs, drivers side header, all lines from tank to engine, and the tank. The tank has an expiration date of 2015 though. I admittedly don't know how difficult it would be to add these components to my truck, but am a pretty good "fixer", so think I could handle it. My biggest concern is the computer being compatible between the '01 and '06.

not sure if it's an issue in your state, but an expired tank cannot be recertified and won't pass safety inspection if your state requires it.
