1997-2001 explorer frame swap.
Anyone have any experience or knowledge to drop on swapping a 59 f100 on a explorer frame. How much fabrication would it entail. Would you have to fab every body mount, cut into the bed, step rails etc. Trying to find a solution for my totalled frame that the project is sitting on now.

It would be a significant undertaking, it has been started a couple times but I don't know of anyone who actually finished it.
Fixing your frame would be much less work. Or even replacing the frame with another 57-60 frame.

Nathan Kershaw put a 56 I believe it is on a explorer/Mountaineer and it looked like a ton of work, not sure if you can compare the 2 or not but definitely something worth checking out. Check out his youtube channel, I believe it's called Nathan's Garage.
