First time to this site very glad I found it, I have a 89 f-150 I6 and want to swap clusters with one that has tach, found one for 87-91, will it match up to my harnesses. Thanxxx for any help
P.S. Glad I am not the only one that gets crappy gas mileage out of the 4.9 about 13.5 mpg city or highway or even pulling a trailor loaded eith cabinets
Just about the easiest thing I ever did, and everyone else on this site will tell you the same. The only pain can be trying to swap out the odometer, so I just left it. (By the time I sell this truck, the mileage will be way to high for anyone to care, anyway). Chack out the archives on this topic. I'm sure you'll find all the info you need. One more quick note: I spent around $75 on mine from a junk yard. I priced around and this seemed to be about the norm.
