BCP Indicator Lamp
Wired mine up this morning along with SEIC and the BCP IL is on continuously when the truck is running.
Drove an hour today and it is still on even with the upfitter in the off position.
I'm sourcing Ignition-Hot-In-Run from pin 2 on C123 to the positive side of the LED, and negative is connected to pin 3 BCPIL.
There is a 1K resistor in the schematic that I didn't put in, thinking it wasn't necessary as the LED in question doesn't require a resistor (built in).
Have checked the wiring many times and it is correct.
Am probably going to put the 1K resistor in the circuit later, but wanted to see if anyone had any experience or ideas. Thanks!

Have unplugged the LED for the time being.
Wondering if the heavy duty dual alternator setup does BCP automagically... and much cursing and sweat was for naught.
My BCP IL is always on, but at about half brightness. When BCP is active, it changes to full bright. This is not a special feature or trickery, just a simple led. I think the ground in the PCM weeps a little current, and since the led takes very little current to light, you’re seeing it as bright. Mine is the same with a 1k resistor and without. Since I can clearly tell the difference, I’m ok with the way it works and haven’t tried to troubleshoot further. Was thinking about testing with larger resistor..
I was thinking the same thing about leakage, and wondering if it is MOSFET or what doing the switching.
Will put it back on tomorrow and see about giving it some load to test it out.
Mostly am glad to hear I didn't fubar something Thanks again, -Jake
