Dana 44 upgrade

In the process of rebuilding a Dana 44 high pinion front axle for my 1960 F100 and I need help. The axle I have is an 8 lug from an F250 that I am changing out the stub spindles, caliper brackets, and rotors to a 5 lug. The problem I'm having is with removing the existing locking hubs. The hubs are vintage powertrain and I can't find any info to help me figure out how to get them off. I removed the exterior parts and the small thin flat wire like retaining circle clip but everything still seems stuck and nothing else will move. Any help guys?
