Won't idle when warm
OK....this may sound strange, but I have a 69 F-100, the truck will idle great when it is rainy and cool out, but won't idle at all when it is warm/hot. I have to keep a foot on the accelerator at stoplights. Any suggestions?? I believe the carb is an aoutolite. Thanks.

Fuel level too high? when the heat expands the fuel, it may be flooding over the top and into the intake.
When warm, adjust the idle mixture screws to see if it will straighten out.

Won't idle when warm
Rebuilding the carb this weekend.....if I can ID what is on there. All the tags are gone, and I can't find any model numbers stamped in the body. I found QC marks but that's about it.
