Mine will make a growling noise every once in a while if I'm making a quick u turn or a large steering input. I can also feel it through the steering wheel when it makes the noise. I figured it's just a symptom of having 38 inch tall tires on it. And like mrgrayaz said, Ford pumps do make a lot of noise. Who knows for sure...
Mine does this at full lock, always has. Everyone has always said its normal.

My truck behaves just like these examples. To me it sounds like the pump is hitting a pressure relief valve setting at full lock.
I have two identical 2017 Lariat F350 4wd dualies. One makes this sound 24/7 driving me nuts, not as pronounced as in your video, and the other truck never does. That proves NOT all of these trucks makes this noise. Mine sounds like air in the oil or valve noise purging. I thought it might go away or dissipate over time but has stayed consistent without any change.
