In one of the posts on this topic, I posted a bunch of pictures and walkthrough. It went great! I'd do the swap out on my 2019 F450 if there was a Raptor wheel that had Adaptive Steering.

So quick question I have lane departure, adaptive cruise, I assume I need a wheel with the same features? Also, Someone said the airbag connections are different and the depth?

Sorry for the questions been researching and seeing these questions. I assume this wheel is no good for my optioned truck

you can use just about any wheel, all you have to do swap your existing controls over to the new wheel. I swaped my factory controls to my raptor wheel.

For the airbag connections, it depends on the air bag and the clock spring. I don't know if there were any changes to those components with the newer trucks. i pretty shure the 17‐19 trucks are all compatible with the parts in my Google doc.

Is there a Raptor wheel that has Adaptive Steering? When I did this on my F350 DRW, it was not possible to do the changeout if your truck had Adaptive Steering. This was because there is a little electric motor inside the steering wheel of vehicles with Adaptive Steering.

I’ve been considering this for my 2020 F-350, once the harnesses can be confirmed for this year, so this is good info about the steering wheel. I have adaptive cruise, but if I can find a heated wheel without that for cheaper and move the buttons over that would be perfect!

Any chance anyone has come across just the wheel, without the buttons and trim piece?

Has anyone successfully installed a heated steering wheel on a 2020 yet?

If you have adaptive steering , then you are out of luck.in regards to a Raptor wheel.

If you want to add a heated steering wheel, 1. you need a new steering wheel with heat. 2 you need a new clock spring that has the connector for heat. I know nothing of the Adaptive steering so I dont know if you can or cant add heat but am thinking heated wheel should be available for that system... Dont mix up adaptive steering with adaptive cruise control. Adaptive steering is the issue for adding a Raptor wheel

If you are paying for a new steering wheel, I would order a Raptor Wheel with heat, new clock spring and a harness from Boosted Gray Goose. It took me less than an hour from start to finish. Could of been quicker but I didnt want to rush and I basically triple checked everything before starting to put things back together.

My truck had a heated wheel previously so all I did was the Raptor wheel with heat and harness from BGG

I messaged boostedgreygoosedesigns about the harnesses for the paddle shifters and heated steering wheels being confirmed for 2020 trucks and he replied that they are working on the programming but have not confirmed it yet, but should be soon.

I have been trying to figure a way to do it for my 20 but no luck so I guess we wait? I have the older boosted harness but assume that won’t work?

I don't know if the old harness works or not, I'll wait and hope it comes sooner rather than later.

The harness he provided me was his newest harness on his website for the Raptor wheel..It works perfectly, all paddles work. The controls for cruise and radio/phone were swapped off my lariat wheel and installed on the Raptor.

Wonder what hes working on now??

I may consider selling or trade my 2020 Lariat wheel w/ heat...PM me if interested

I'm not sure. I asked about the harness for the paddles and the heated steering wheel in the same question, maybe he was just referring to the heated steering wheel harness?
