Hey all, I have a 2006 w 185k on the clock. Between last spring (2017) and now, I've replaced my glow plugs and harnesses, ebp sensor and tube, icp, ipr, egr, ficm relay plus did the blue spring upgrade. Truck runs great, doesn't miss, has great get up and go.....plenty of power. My only problem is it has a no start when hot and what I think is a long crank time when cold.
It'll start after sitting for a few hours, but drive for just 10 minutes then shut down and try to restart, ain't gonna happen.
I'm thinking my problem is my dummy plugs and pickup tubes. Oh yea and I keep getting code 2285.
What do you all think?
Thanks for the help. Chris
That’s the first thing I would do. I got hard headed and went down the rabbit hole convinced mine was the Hpop. It was not! Wasted a lot of time. Do an air test.
