Bought the woven stainless screen from Summit Racing and had a sheet metal shop hem the edges and weld it. Back side has 1/2" felt around the edges so theres no metal to metal contact with the radiator.

Nice job and thanks for posting the idea!
How bout pics laying on a table with a tape showing dimensions?
Some of us non-tech guys can take to a fab shop and ask them to make me one like this one.

Thanks, the dimensions are; 28-1/4 X 29-1/2 the hem ( just a stainless "U" channel thats been flattened) is 1" wide on each side.
Should offer a decent line of defense...

That's awesome, I have always used aluminum screen doubled up, installed the brass grommets and zip tied it to the back of the grill.
How did you attach it to the truck?
Thanks for posting.

Yep, I’ll be doing this! Did you have to modify the truck, or is there room for it to slip down in there? I’ve considered one of the screens that clips in front of the grill, but they defeat the front camera, and, besides, they’re just plain ugly. :-)

No mods... slips right in, and bottoms out...self retaining. Recommend felt strips (self adhesive 1/2” wide -Lowes/Home Depot) on back side of frame to prevent any metal to metal contact...
