Tumbler Trouble
I just bought a 86 Bronco II 2.9L V6. I need to replace the tumbler. I got new one. Took the old one out. Couldn't put the new one in. When the new one is in place, it can't be turned to the "Locked" position, and the key can't be removed. Yet it can be turned to, "off," "on," and, "start," positions. The old one, I think, did the same thing. But you couldn't put a key in it. Didn't have too either.
So now, I'm thinking that I'm also going to have to replace the part that the tumbler goes into. The trouble is I'm not sure how to get the old one off, and the Haynes Manual I have doesn't show it. Can anyone help me?
