thread size?

On my ford 312 cylinder head on the driver side it is missing a screw in plug. This plug is located on the rear of the head near the intake port. Anyone know the thread size?

thanks

Jerry

Itís a course thread 1/2 or 9/16s. Itís not the thread size thatís the problem itís the length. If the bolt is too long it hits the push rod. Leave it out and it will blow oil out of the hole.
