2006 XLT TPMS
Oxidation.
2006 XLT 5.4 with. 206,000 miles.
Hello,I have a 2006 XLT F-150 extended cab with short box and 2 wheel drive. The "chrome" on my wheels are peeling and oxidizing. They are 18". My question is what years are the TPMS compatible with my year. I'm looking at some used 2010 wheels and wondering if the sensors are compatible. If not what is the cheapest quality option for replacing. Can a DIY'er do it before tires are mounted and what tools are needed and can you get them on e-bay....any links. Thanks.

Can I take my banded sensors off my wheels and put them on 2010 wheels..? I know they went to stem sensors in 2010. What happened to just being able to change tires and not all this sensor bull crap.
