My 2000 excursion on max air when its' on high fan the air fluctuates and stops cooling as good. The blend door actuator is working. Wat
else could it be.
Have not had to deal with that issue and hate to be captain obvious but it would seem like it would either be the motor or the switch/supply side wiring.
if it was mine I would get my DMM out and start the trouble shooting at the motor.
a power probe might be handy to use as well but you can always use a jumper supply wire to diagnosis the motor.
Plus 1, check the resistor plug connector for the fan too, look for burnt terminals, could also be the fan motor it's self.
On my service vans I never have the windows open and always run the AC, when one of the AC fan motors finally died after sporadically operating with dead spots, I replaced it, tore the old one apart, the brushes were gone and the motor rotor was trying to operate with the just the brush springs touching. and the resistor plug had burn marks too.
