2000 f150 AC problem
I was driving my f150 with the AC on, it has a 4 position fan switch. Lo, 1 , 2, and Hi. The fan only works on Hi. I don't think its a fuse, so what are the possibilities ?

the fan 4 speeds are set by running 12 volts thru a series of resistors and dropping the voltage to the fan. The selector switch chooses which resistors are needed...... the resistor block is about the size of an ice cube.. It is bolted to the bottom of the air duct, below the glove box. Lay on the passenger floor and look up at the duct... look for a 4 wire connector on a small black cube.. Two small bolts connect it and it sets INSIDE the duct hole so cool air can keep it cool. .... Pull it out and look... sometimes the resistor burns out, sometimes the plug is damaged.. sometimes due to a bad ground on the system. ....... the switch is less likely but possible.
