Lariat Sport Package
I am curious if anybody has any insight on the sport appearance package for 2019. I decided to wait for a 2019 because I really don’t like chrome on trucks, but just noticed that the sport package doesn’t say anything about bumpers. For the F150, it lists body color bumpers for the pack, but the SD doesn’t. I would have to assume that they wouldn’t leave the chrome bumpers on after body coloring everything else, but who knows. I would hate to keep waiting just to find out it’s still chrome. Anybody have any inside knowledge here?

I called the third dealer today(the first two never got back to me). The manager I spoke to called back and said it will have painted bumpers. Where he got this info, I have no idea. I also asked about the “late availability” and he said he thinks it will be 6-8 weeks for the order bank to open up for the sport package. How realiable this info is, who knows, but he seemed pretty darn confident. He said he put me down as a weekly appointment to check to see if the package is opened for order, and will call when it is.

Me too!!! I can’t see why they would body color everything, but leave the biggest chrome pieces on there. Add that to the fact that everything else basically mirrors the F150 version, and I would say it’s pretty likely the bumpers will be body colored. I would like to see the rims before placing an order, but I really don’t care what they look like that much. The other wheel options don’t do much for me anyway.

I couldn't find the thread that had the info I saw - but made it sound like the sport package would have a "Sport" grill but still have the chrome bumpers. Didn't make sense to me but I don't make the decisions. They already do body colored door handles and mirror caps on the lariat might as well go ahead and do body colored bumpers.

You can order a 19 YM in March, but the build & price is still not available in June......Stupid! I would Love to find an 18 without the Chrome Package that adds $1,300 to the price. The front of the truck has enough chrome to blind someone.

Why not just use NADA.com for 2019 pricing so you can see invoice pricing too?

Agree! I'm more interested in what the 19 Sports will look like compared to the F150? If it's not color match grill etc, I would just as well get an 18. Would like to see a 19 picture before the 18's are gone to help me decide.
