rough idle after plug change- HELP

So I finally got around to changing my V10's plugs. 141,000 miles. Wasn't as bad as I thought. I blew out each hole, kept the coils in order, etc. I used Motocraft plugs and checked the gap to .054. After changing them all but before putting the coils back on I cleaned the engine with cleaner and pressure washer then blew out the water from the holes and every where else. Really wanted to make sure it was dry. I also wiped down the coils and boots. I used dialectic grease on the boots and installed the coils. After putting everything back I started the truck and went for a little ride. I no sooner got out of the driveway when the CEL came on and the truck was running rough. Well I went to Oriley's about 5 miles away and had them pull the codes. It was P0357 G coil #7 problem. I checked and it was unplugged, I plugged it back in and disconnected the battery to clear the CEL. Now the truck still idles rough up to about 1500rpms and is kinda sluggish off the line for a bit but runs fine down the road. So, I double check all the Vac hoses and wire connectors. All good. Even sprayed around the hoses with carb cleaner with no changes. Also cleaned the MAF sensor in the air filter and sprayed the throttle body. (They seemed clean but it's never been done)

CEL is off but I still have a rough idle. RPMs seem normal. At my wits end. Thinking IAC or heaven forbid something happened to Cyl #7 while the coil was disconnected. Don't really want to "start over" and pull each coil pack and check the new plugs. I'd think I'd get a CEL if there was an issue here. BTW the old plugs were .065 to .080 gap.

was thinking this same thing as I was reading the post.....give it time to really dry up. Hopefully that’ll end your issues.

At 141K Miles did you also replace the boots? They live in a very harsh environment and they do wear out over time, they developed cracks that can bleed some of the high voltage out which can cause rough running and misses, you may not be able to see the wear or damage to the boots, but with that amount of mile's on them I'd throw a set of the Denso replacements in.

UPDATE: I started over again. Pulled all the coil packs and the plugs. The furthest plug on the right( the one wayyy back there by the ac) had stains on the boot (they were clean when I installed them) and a small rust trail on the porcelain plug. I took the boot off and the plug end of the spring was rusty and on the coil end a couple drops of water came out.. Ah Ha!! I put the plugs back, installed all new boots, put the coils back and she runs. I can imagine it looked like a Pink Floyd laser show inside that boot, So it appears I didn't blow out that back socket well enough after it's bath. On the plus side I'm pretty good at changing plugs lol.
