Get yourself a donor vehicle.. ideally an early 7.5 truck without a computer controlled trans so '88-90 I believe and transplant the whole topend of the motor(heads, intake, distributor) all engine wiring and computer, and the whole fuel system.. tanks, lines and pumps (where applicable), no external(frame mounted) fuel pumps on '90+ pickups.
1. 96 or 97 the 460 got MAF. Best year to get. Really, you'd be looking at swapping engine and trans to keep the computer operating properly or get the older model as mentioned. Going that route, It honestly might be easier to put your truck body on a 90's frame with the injection already there.
2. Swap late 80's-91 ford 460 heads and EFI.
3. Cheapest and easiest way is probably to adapt GM TBI from 80s to mid 90s. The expensive Holley aftermarket kit is basically this.
If you're doing EFI there's no point in those aftermarket TBI systems, they're no better than a carb. You'll still have the same uneven fuel distribution issues inherent in any wet intake. They're terribly expensive for zero gain over a decent carburetor. Converting to EFI is a great way to lighten your wallet, but if you go that route do MPI.
