I have an 02 f350 reg cab that is having a little bit of brake issues .... A couple months ago I went ahead and did all new calipers, pads, and rotors on ALL 4 WHEELS because the passenger side rear brake kept hanging up when I was driving and making the brake hot while driving as well as holding my truck back during acceleration. I also did a new brake line from the T fitting on the rear axle to the passenger rear brake as well just in case there was a blockage in the line causing it to hang up before ... So the truck has all new brakes all the way around and has been working perfectly for the past couples months, until the other day I noticed the brake on the passenger rear was hanging up AGAIN!!! Im wondering what I should do to figure out why it is that brake and that brake only causing the problem before and after new the brakes and what i should check and look for ... THANKS!
Did you lube the slide pins or replace with high temp brake grease ?
Yes I did ... Put a lot of grease on everything lol ... I've noticed on and off if I feather my brakes slowing down I here a metallic rattling noise from that break .... I might just have to tear into it and see if I find anything
