Interesting (scary?) steering issue
Hey guys. 2006 F350 CC Lariat. I have noticed that when I turn the wheel to full lock left I have about a half of a steering wheel rotation of play. I looked underneath while my wife moved the wheel and there is nothing noticeably moving so that makes me think steering box problem. At the same time, when the wheel is fully locked left, it will bind and I can't turn it back until the truck is moving. Thirdly, the steering wheel is a bit off center to the right when I am driving straight. Is it possible the PO installed a new pitman arm in the wrong orientation?
