Does anyone know of a company that makes upper control arms that are designed to be used with a leveling kit? My upper ball joint on the drivers side is starting to make a creaking noise when I make sharp turns.
several people mentioned that a leveling kit can prematurely wear out ball joints due to the increased angle created by the strut spacer. I can't say for sure that the leveling kit caused this one to go bad because I had to have the passenger side ball joint replaced prior to the leveling kit being installed.
I was able to find new upper control arms from tough-country, but it comes with the strut spacer and rear lift blocks. All I need are the new upper control arms. Any help would be appreciated.
Well I was able to find just the upper control arms from tuffcountry but there is a note that says they will not fit with factory wheels and that any wheel needs to have less than 5 inches of backspacing. My factory wheels have roughly 7 inches of backspacing. It seems like there is plenty of room between my steering knuckle/Upper control arm ball joint and tire. Does anyone on here have any experience using these?
Icon Delta Joints are about the best out right now. But here are some others. Stage 3 said they should fit up to a 295 (11.5") wide tire on factory wheel.

Thanks for the info. Man, there sure isn't anything in between economy and top of the line. If I can find a reasonable price I might go with the BDS Suspension control arms. They are more than I would like to spend, but they do come with common ball joints if ever need to change them in the future. Momma's not going to like this bill!
