06 f250 5.4 v8 all factory manifolds seem to fail within 2 years of replacement. Anyone know of good short tubes headers ?
Specifically, no, but when shopping around, get a pair that are 304 stainless steel. They are more expensive than 409 stainless steel, which is the other common exhaust material, but 304 has a higher chromium quantity and is much more resistant to corrosion. For example, I have 304 ss long tubes and x-pipe on my Mustang, and they've been installed for around five years. They're dull and tarnished but have minimal rust. I installed a 409 ss exhaust system on my Powerstroke in January, and they are already quite corroded. 304 Is worth the cost.

thank you, I have a cat back thats 304 right now soon to be true duals. My manifold has the typical 5.4 leak which I don't wanna keep fixing, so I appreciate the help
