82 column length

82 column length
I’ve currently got an 82 non tilt column that is on its last leg installed in my 47 ford truck. I’ve thought about replacing it with a new aftermarket column. Can anyone tell me the length of the factory column for an 82 f150? It’s just the right length

When I saw your fist post earlier I was like "why not measure what you have? now I see why LOL.
I have an 81 out of a truck and can get measurements from it but......what do you need me to measure?
From where to where? From wheel lip to the D shaft slip fit? If I was to go to the rag joint the D shaft may have moved in or out so?
Or from wheel lip to the bolt holes where it bolts to the lower dash?
Or wheel lip to the floor plate but I think that is only a clamp and can also move up or down?
