I’ve used the services of Krown rust proofing for my lash 3 trucks. Never an issue. The mechanics at my dealership always commented on how easy it is to work on my trucks.
Ill continue to use their services.

they definitely don’t spare any product. Better lots then nots. I leave my truck outside for a couple of days until I can drive down a dusty road a few miles.
I also Live here in ME and have good luck with Amsoil metal Protectant spray. It works well and unlike fluid film stays where you spray it. It dry's like a wax type product and will not need an application only 1 time a year for a touch up. Was developed as a chain wax with no sling, kinda messy with first coat but dry's and stays in place. 6-8 cans will treat the entire truck very easy application.
We plow snow at my company. We have our trucks de-salted and Krown treated after every season. Look for a “Krown” treatment dealer. They go full monte. Pull all the lights out, drill (and plug) access holes in the doors and jams, spray in the frame, above the tank,etc.... if you start service with them with a new truck, and treat after every season. They garantee your truck wil never rust. Cost $180 a year per truck with the plows and spreaders. Even with the aluminum truck. I’ll be continuing on with their service.
