Squeaky doors

I have a couple of hinges squeaking on a 2016 Lariat. No amount of lube will cure it. Dealer wants to order unpainted hinges, paint them and remove/reinstall doors to install the new hinges. Will this cause me bigger issues downstream after warranty is expired? Misfitting doors, leaks or other bs? Should we just put up with the squeaks in fear of bigger trouble or let em do the job? Undecided.

I could be wrong...but if no amount of lube will cure it, they must not be lubing what is making the squeak.
In other words, if they are only lubing the contact points and it isn’t helping, then perhaps it’s the roller, pin, spring plate, or other surface.

As to your question, not if they are installed and adjusted properly. They are the same exact hinges that came on the truck.

I wouldn’t do it. Spray some white lithium at all of the pivot points. Too much to possibly go wrong by having all the doors pulled off.

I agree with JKBrad......No need to possibly cause another problem by replacing the hinges.

Just find a high quality/viscosity lube that`s also waterproof and lube the hinges and see if that solves your problem before going down the road of replacement.

Don't Have the Dealer Remove the doors, to many problems could arise from that
I too have squeaking hinges, I put some Lock ease in the spray can on the Hinge pins
and slide assy Its made by AGS Company. It took care of some or most of the Noise.

I tested white lithium on my driver's door hinges. Let it sit for a while. The squeak went away.

I had my dealer look at my drivers door today while getting serviced. They ended up replacing the door check to fix the squeak.
