Doors

I have a 66. The doors, hinges and cab were all seperated to sand blast and paint. I have worked for hours trying to get them to line up with no luck. Does anybody have any tricks for putting the doors back on. Any help would be great.
Thanks

Those doors are a real pain in the keester to get put on straight/flush. The only suggestions I have is be patient and keep trying. I wish I knew of a shortcut.

Make sure the vehicle is parked on hard level ground when removing/installing doors.

If the doors were removed when the vehicle was parked on soft ground, on a slope or was on jackstands, re-hanging the doors can be a real b!tch.

Thanks. I will keep trying. You have to wonder how they did it on the assembly line.

If you were just beginning I drilled 2 1/8 inch hole in each side of hinge thru the metal. Then used line up dowels to line back up.
