1953 F100 Brakes

I am replacing the brakes on my '53 F100 and having trouble getting the nut off of the rear brake anchor pin (2027) at the top. The nut is still extremely hard to turn, even though it has been turned a few revolutions. Liberal use of PB Blaster has not really helped. Are these nuts staked or mechanically retained in any way? If not, should I just rely on brute force to get it off? Even my air gun only turns it slowly. Any suggestions would be appreciated
. Thanks.

Try some heat. Get the nuts just slightly red.
