speedometer correction
I have a 2000 F350. 7.3. 6 inch lift, 3.73 gears and automatic ,with 37 swamper ssr's. Has any body tried Super Lift's True Speed yet ? It's supposed to correct the milage and speedometer.

Yes, the Tru Speed will work. It handles just about every computer controlled vehicle out there and will correct for gear ratio changes and tire size changes in less than 1/2 inch increments. I highly recommend the product.

You may want to look into Atrol's electronic ratio adapter (ERA). It's simular to the TrueSpeed and @ $125.00 it costs a little less.
This unit uses DIP sw to dial in the speed ratio vs. the POT's that TrueSpeed uses.
I'm very statisfied with the unit I have.

I have not used it personally but, I have heard good things about it. Given a more or less 1-2 mph correction rate. I just had to reprogram the PSOM on my speedometer.
You might want to give Your Local Ford Dealer, Just to see if they will do it or if your truck has that option before you go spending the 200 or so Bux that it cost.

theres a few devices out there... i personally use a merlin controls speed wizard and it is great - easy to install and it is the only one that provides a user interface.
no dip switches to move or pots to turn just two switches up and down and it used your speedometer itself to set the correction.
they all do their job though, its just how easy to do it.
