No not the man which is fine with me. I am in my bay building another 966M hood, should be done with it today. Going quick but I have done like 6 of them so far.
I ordered the headliner material for the Dodge this morning but that won't arrive till next week. The 4x4 air to pull cable conversion kit should hopefully be in by Friday and I might get to install it but not sure what the weekend plans are yet. Showing a little love to the old girl. I still need to mount the base plate to the Hummer and run the light kit. Always more to do than time to get it done.
I am sure I will find plenty to do to keep me busy. I got the 966 hood finished this morning, now I’m putting a blade on a new trash dozer they sold. The new selector fork for the dodge came in today. Hope the cable kit comes in tomorrow. Told the wife I ordered the headliner fabric, she said whatever. She knows I am always working on something. She likes the truck and would like to have it nicer than it is right now. I am going to drive the lightning to work on Friday. Wife wants me to leave the suburban, fine with me!
They are cool but it's at the bottom of the list. They are not cheap even used, lowest I have seen is like 14 thousand, hell I can buy a Corvette for that price. The wife told me last night she wants me to get the Lightning repainted next year.
Her pet cow got out while I was deployed and decided to horn the front bumper cover and they put a big scratch down the side of the bed when they got it stuck in the mud, again while I was deployed. She wants me to get it repainted so I can take it to shows and it be the way it is suppose to be. I like the ghost flames on the front so I want to have them repainted back on.

No estimates since we just talked about it. The posi-lok cable arrived yesterday for the Dodge so I going to try and install that this weekend. The headliner material won't arrive till next week but I will probably go ahead and pull the liner board out and get it cleaned up.
I stopped and got a pinion seal from the autoparts store on the way home, think I got the wrong one since I could not remember the ring size. The headliner material arrived yesterday. If I run to town today I will exchange for the right seal and get some interior glue.I was thinking of replacing the dodge windshield myself. The glass was cheap thru Rockauto, but when they added in shipping it ends up being a heck of a lot cheaper to just pay Safelight to come do it. It will be less than $225.00 if they do it and it will have a warranty. We might take the motorhome out for a ride today just to keep everything lubed up. .
The local glass company will do the Mazda windshiel for 175. Is Safelite who does thrm at work? You do neeed to exercise the generator 30 minutes a month
Farmers Glass in Austell is what we use at work. At a little over 200 and they come to me I think is a deal. I do run the generator every other week or so right now when I am messing around inside of it. I got the posi-lock installed and we have 4 wheel drive!!! It will be nice to have it as a back up for work. I sure could have used it that one day it snowed like crazy last winter. The Suburban would spin if I had to stop for a traffic light. Heading to town to get the right pinion seal and a can of headliner glue.
