Question Replacement trans cooler hard lines

After the last snow storm of this year my rusty hard cooling lines have started to leak and are now in need of replacement. I had already cut most of them out leaving about 3.5 FT from the trans forward where I switch to rubber lines. I have a plate trans cooler and an inline trans filter that I added which had enough rubber lines between the 2 kits to get the job done. Now that I have to replace the remaining rusted hard lines I am looking for a source on pre-bent lines as I am going to also be replacing the radiator at the same time. Unless the hard lines are hard to come by going rubber is fine although I am inclined to go OEM with the rubber for the plate cooler and trans filter parts. In any case even if I do go full rubber I need to find at least a couple short hard lines to mount at the trans in order to make the transition in any case. Has anyone done this yet and have suggestions? Thanks

I just did this a few months ago. For whatever reason, there seemed to be no readily available pre-bent lines for my year/engine/trans combination. I ended up going with this kit for my 95/4.9L/E4OD.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=1552318274013

At least one of the fittings was wrong w/the kit, so I had to source that from Earl's. Fortunately it wasn't a big deal to have the truck down for a week or so while I sorted it out, but it was a bit of a PITA to make it right.
I replaced my radiator late last year and I think in the process of that I stressed the lines too much. Going forward, I think rubber is a good solution. I covered the hose w/braided steel sleeve in the areas I was worried about. It's been great so far.
I should have the information for the fittings somewhere. If you're interested, I'll look them up and post them here.

Thanks for the reply I tried your Ebay link but that did not get me to anything maybe you can list the description of the listing? In another thread someone suggested grabbing some 5/16 brake line and putting a double fare on the end. I could conceivably do that to replace the portion of my original hard lines to the current length where they meet up with the rubber ones but there was no other information like what other hardware would be needed. If you can forward the fittings info that would be great... thanks

Another vote for inlinetube.com I bought brake lines from them for my Camaro about 15 years ago. Excellent product.

Trying this link again, https://www.ebay.com/itm/Automatic-T...4gAAOSwnLdWq9T R
Or this is another similar listing. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Automatic-T...addedFlatRateE nvelope!46037!US!-1

I too looked into using brake line. Also, you could just cut out the section that is leaking and replace that with hose and clamp it back together. Have heard of people having success with that as well. Which might be a good option since by doing that you don't have to change any of the connections and putting the rubber section (in theory anyway) allows the line some additional movement and may prevent a future failure. For me, I just wanted it all replaced end to end.

This was the additional fitting I needed. I'll take a pic later to better explain where it goes. This is for my E4OD though, not sure if you will have something similar or not.

Look at Dennis Carpenter Ford parts online. Seems I saw lines available not long ago ( <3 mo.) I actually thought about buying a set to put on the 'hard to find OEM, but I found them once' parts pile....

https://www.fordpartsprime.com/ has a lot of hard to find or 'discontinued' OEM Ford parts. Check them out. They are legit.
