When for sale?

LOL probably never...after seeing the odd arraignment of upper trim levels only for the 3.0 and the mediocre results TFL truck had with it on youtube and lastly the timing belt on a diesel engine ( folks can say what they want to about a 100k timing belt, they can do it but I still wont have one on a diesel engine) I gave up on Ford and their 60k truck and yes I did it, I bought a new Ram 2500 with the cummins engine and get on average of 17-18 miles to the gallon for a few dollars less than 40k.
For 20k more I could have bought the ford which had less payload, easily 1/2 less towing ability...how long would it have taken 20k in difference to offset 17-18 mpg to Fords 25 (4x4) mpg? Much less that anemic towing.
Sorry Ford, if you could have gotten it down to XL or XLT pricing I might would have bit the bait, but I got far more truck for less money...I could have dealt with the far lower towing numbers....but it appears Ford is obviously dragging their heels on this getting in customer hands....do yourself a favor and test drive and do some towing with the ram 2500 cummins before you throw your money at the"will it appear 3.0"

I really dont think Ford is serious about this thing in 2018....maybe 2019. In early Summer they will have to poop or get off the pot....They know good and well that Chevys inline 6 will beat both the Ram and the Ford for the 1500/ F-150 class...that is.... if chevy uses direct gear timing and stays away from a timing belt, Ford knows good and well the F-150 diesel will loose steam quickly to the chevy by diesel owners who for the most part recognize an engine for what it is and are not blinded by brand loyalty...its like Ford lost the wind in their sails and already know the outcome, especially after chevy announced that their3.0 was an inline 6...LOL its like the Ford R&D and enginnering said "What the heck we preempted them but they win the end game because we cant one-up that" So the odd silence from Ford currently settles in while the evaluations of the competition continues.
Prediction: I see the Ford 3.0 discontinued (or far less possibility) dramatically changed to an inline 6 within 5 years...or pride makes them push it out for 10 years when they know good and well it was and Edsel
There is an old saying about a " Blivet"...its been around for at least 70 years....a Bliviet is 10 pounds of poop in a 2 lb bag and Ford currently has a "blivet" on their hands
