You may remember my post here, when I stated that Ford made Cummins, and then was told otherwise. Well now you see, I hearing many different things from many different people. Uncle still claims that Ford DOES make Cummins, however, my grandfather says they used to but then sold the company later on, and then my friend's dad says Ford never EVER had anything to do with the Cummins diesel. Can someone give real info and actually back it up?
At one point in Cummins history, Ford Motor Co. owned a percentage of Cummins. Why that lead people to believe Ford owned Cummins, I'll never know but that debate has gone on many times over the years here at FTE. Ford has never built any Cummins engine.
