Clones first injector swap
He's giving it the old college try. Watched a couple of videos and I stood by him and handed him the tools. Only dropped one socket and no bolts missing. #4 injector nipple cup seal is toast. Ford warrantied 4 and 6. I'll return them to get my core deposit back tomorrow and show him how to clean the cups. I have the seals for the nipple cups in stock. I'd really like to change the dead head seals too. Anyone done the log style rails,chime on in. I could get used to a mini hop to to the wrenching.

I did the kids truck little over a year ago, log style rails are no different than wavy when it comes to the nipple cup seals.......or are you talking about the dead head seals?
I didn't know they went bad.
I did notice the little test port plug thing on the top of the drivers side rail, the o ring was trashed. Might want to check those good as well.

No work tonight,homework first. I found him asleep on the couch watching Velocity TV. I think having the Big Blu truck back spiked his interest. I'll wait till he's ready to go at it again.
