Injectors
So I’ve finally I had 3 injectors go out after 246,000 miles. Always changed fuel filter and put additives in the fuel. Figured I got my use out them. I changed the number 4 injector and then like 3 miles down the road number 6 & 7 stopped working. I got injectors from ford which are $260 a piece. What I’m wondering is if say after I replace these other 2 injectors and the rest of the old ones fail do I have to go ford injectors or their another site I can maybe get a 100,000 miles out of the injectors if I buy from them. I drive the truck around town and pull every once in a while I put no more than 30,000 miles a year on it and hopefully to do a full rebuild including headstuds and new heads and bigger injectors here within the next year or 2.
