I have had the Supernova v3’s for slightly over 18 months and they have been flawless. Makes night driving a breeze compared to the yellow stock bulbs.
Even a move to a cheaper 4.5, 5 or 6k halogen is a big improvement over stock. I have tried those in my 2017 also and they are not bad and much cheaper than going full out LED.
Been burning V.4’s in my ‘19 F350 for past 5 months, No issues, and no flashing once dialed in to correct adjustment. Had OEM LED’s on my F150, imo these V.4’s provide very similarly brightness as OEM’s. I replace fog lights with Morimoto XB LED’s, don’t use them much, overkill for regular use with the coverage from the V.4’s. I did use these fogs regularly on the F150, which suggests the V.4’s provide a broader beam.
My only lighting complaint is no one offers self-leveling lights for our trucks, for obvious reasons this is a huge oversight on vehicle designed to carry & tow large loads! 1.5 turns of the adjustment screws when towing boat, or I just burn parking & fogs lights for short runs. V.4 earn .
I installed the dual mode V4's (white / yellow) last Sunday. They looked great but, they were defective. Modes did not work correctly. 3 second trigger for mode did not work right.
Joey was great, refunded the difference and promptly shipped out the white only versions for the headlamps and fogs.
I love my supernova v.4 bulbs in the high beams of our Pacifica, which i installed about 6 months ago. I just bought a set of Eagle LED bulbs off of Amazon for another car, which I'll install soon. As near as I can tell before installing them, they are identical to the v.4's I bought for less than 1/2 of the price. I'll share more thoughts after the install.
I put HIDs in the low beam projectors of the Pacifica, but after seeing how amazing thr LED high beams were, wondered if the v.4s would have worked in the lows as well. I'll try both the low beam projectors and high beam position with the new Eagle bulb before deciding between LED and HID for the lows.
Now that I've installed and used both the Eagle and Supernova v.4 bulbs, I'm even more convinced that they are identical - Not similar, but completely identical. The box of the Eagle lights (bought on Amazon) is different from the Supernova v.4 box, and they cost WAY less, but visually, the LEDs, heat sink, fan, wires, ballast box, and connectors are identical (down to each fin of the heatsink and bumps on the ballast.) The performance and light color look identical as well.
