I know it's difficult if not meaningless to show "shinny truck" pictures online but FWIW... here it is post Cquartz and the new parking spot. Retaining wall coming next
Matte black PC bumpers
Pillars....absolutely no swirls marks. Makes me want to run out and get them covered in 3M film
Please tell us...what coating? How much? How difficult to apply and remove? And please come back over time and give updates on how long it lasts... Thanks..
I currently am doing whole truck with Adam's products... Clay, 3 levels of polish, Machine sealant ,topped with 2 coats of meguires ultimate synthetic wax... pRobably last a year before I feel I need to do it again.
CQuartz UK ..... I paid $500 with a small amount of paint correction for a couple burn and swirl marks from the dealerships hack job when I first bought the truck. I'm not the guy that needs his truck to be all super shinny and new looking, however I did want to preserve the paint for as long as I can as I plan on having the truck for many years. This coating last 3-5 years (closer to 3 for me in New England and parking outside). I'll keep an eye on it and see if it needs another application in a few years. My co-worker is having his black 2016 Tacoma done next week as well so I'll have two trucks to monitor in similar conditions (except he parks in a garage every night). Will be an interesting comparison.

Yes New England winter will be a Great test...Thanks
My Ford dealer( I worked there and sold it) sells Permaplate....they treat seats and carpet too...I works very well and u get warranty that if paint gets say bird dropping etched...they will buff it out or paint it if can't...can't clean seats? They will replace fabric...7 years..$1000
I had Ceramic Pro installed when my truck was less than a month old, never went to a car wash and had paint correction done as well. Only issue with paint correction is you can really see the orange peel from the factory paint job. I have 2 base layers and 3 top layers as well as wheels and the barrels and it cost me $1500. Now I'm coming up on the one year mark and it'll go back to be freshened up each year for 5 years at no extra cost. Having a black truck was well worth the cost to never wax it for 5 years and protect it from the salt and brine in the winters.

If I recall correctly, they remove any water spots that may have accumulated and then re-apply another light coat if required. The light coat is the top three layers I had applied over the base or 9H. I know he also wanted to address the plastic door pillars if any marks appeared on them, but right now they still appear spotless. This is hands down the best money, in my opinion, that I've ever spent on any of my vehicles.
